Enrollment Guide for New Families

Welcome to Abracadabra! We’re so happy you’re considering joining our school community. Below is our easy, step-by-step enrollment process designed to guide families from their first visit through placement.

Step 1: Schedule a Tour

The first step to enrollment is visiting our school.

• Tours are offered Monday–Friday, typically in the mornings between 9:30–11:00 AM

• To schedule a tour, please email abracadabraccva@gmail.com

After your tour, you can decide if Abracadabra is the right fit for your family's needs.

Step 2: Join the Waitlist

If a space is not immediately available in your child’s classroom, you may apply to join our waitlist.

 

Our waitlist is strictly managed in the following order:

• Priority is given based on the date completed paperwork is received.

• Within that order, families with siblings currently enrolled at Abracadabra are considered first.

• New families are then considered based on their original paperwork submission date.

 

This process helps ensure fairness while also supporting continuity for our current families. Placement from the waitlist is dependent on availability and does not guarantee enrollment.

We primarily enroll new families at the start of each school year. If space becomes available during the year, we may contact families on the waitlist to see if they are interested.

Step 3: Wait for the Start of the School Year

Once on the waitlist:

• Our administrative team will reach out via email as soon as a space becomes available

• Please feel free to contact us at any time with questions

Tuition & Fees Overview

2025–2026 Monthly Tuition Rates (Current)

• $1,575/month – Elves & Munchkins

• $1,475/month – Magicians, Wizards, Genies & Giants

2026–2027 Monthly Tuition Rates

• $1,625/month – Elves & Munchkins

• $1,525/month – Magicians, Wizards, Genies & Giants

All tuition rates are subject to yearly increases.

Additional Fees

• $400 non-refundable registration fee (due upon enrollment)

• $175 annual activity fee (added to the first bill of the school year)

• $35 returned check fee

• Abracadabra offers a 10% sibling discount for families with two or more children enrolled. The discount is applied to the oldest child’s tuition only.

Payment Information

• Tuition is due on the 1st of each month

• Payments are made through Brightwheel

• Payment options include credit card, bank withdrawal, or autopay

Important Policies

• Tuition is not reduced for absences, illness, inclement weather, or teacher training days

• Abracadabra does not offer prorated months

• Abracadabra is closed on all Federal holidays

Meals & Snacks

• Families provide a morning snack and lunch each day

• Abracadabra provides a nutritious afternoon snack

• Optional lunch service is available through School House Grill

• Abracadabra is a nut-free facility (including meals from home and celebration foods)
